For a list of all currently documented Lucent (Agere) chipsets with specifications, see Lucent.
Per this old Ixbt Labs product roundup, the device shares the same manufacturer as the early Buffalo devices. The layout looks near identical to the Buffalo WLAR-L11-L and is probably the Buffalo WLA-L11.
- It appears Buffalo / Melco manufactured the device as the device. It also carries a Buffalo OUI (00:40:26) in the web configuration interface screenshots. The WLAN OUI is 00:60:1D (Lucent).
- The device obviously seems to have been resold by BroMax (now merged into CyberTAN), however, as the device carries (in the web UI) the FreePort brand and the model WS200-LF.
The default SSID may be 'APXXXXXX', where 'XXXXXX' is some combination of hex digits (upper case letters).
