SparkLAN notes the chipset as MT7601U. This is presumed to be in error, MT7601U seems to be a single-stream bgn only chipset. It is presumed to use the (quite similarly named) MT7610U - MTK's current single-stream abgn+ac chip.

This device will likely use the default MT7610U USB ID (0e8d:7610 [new MTK VID] / 148f:7610 [old Ralink VID]).
